In ‘rationalisation’ move, NCERT drops periodic table chapter from Class X book

1 The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has decided to omit the chapter on the periodic table from Class 10 Science textbooks as part of the “rationalisation” exercise
(राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक अनुसंधान एवं प्रशिक्षण परिषद (एनसीईआरटी) ने ‘युक्तिकरण’ की कवायद के तहत 10वीं कक्षा की विज्ञान की पाठ्यपुस्तकों से आवर्त सारणी के अध्याय को हटाने का फैसला किया है।)
2 The chapter however has been retained in Class 11 textbook

Let us tell you that earlier this year, NCERT had removed the Theory of Evolution chapter from the 10th class. Now NCERT has decided to remove some chapters from the new books, in which there is also a chapter with periodic table. Apart from environmental sustainability and sources of energy from the book of science, the chapter on democracy has also been removed from the books of class 10.a

आपको बता दें कि इस साल के शुरू में NCERT ने थियरी ऑफ इवोल्यूशन चैप्टर को 10वीं क्लास से हटा दिया था. अब NCERT ने नई किताबों से कुछ चैप्टर को हटाने का फैसला लिया है, जिसमें पीरियोडिक टेबल वाला चैप्टर भी है. साइंस की किताब से इन्वॉयरमेंटल सस्टेनबलिटी और सोर्स ऑफ एनर्जी के अलावा डेमोक्रेसी पर शामिल चैप्टर को भी 10वीं क्लास की पुस्तकों से हटा दिया गया है
