सात मित्र हैं अर्थात A, B, C, D, E, F और G. वे सभी एक सप्ताह में सोमवार से शुरुआत करते हुए रविवार (उसी सप्ताह) तक एक फिल्म देखने जाते हैं, लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं कि इसी क्रम में हो. केवल एक व्यक्ति प्रत्येक दिन में एक फिल्म देखने जाता है.

A goes to watch the movie before Thursday. The three friends go to the movies in the middle of those days when A and F go to watch movies. Between F and B, two friends go to the movie. Between B and G, only one friend goes to the movie. Only one friend goes to see the movie between D and G. Two friends go to the movie between D and C. E does not see the movie on Sunday.
