विवरण: भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक (आरबीआई) ने कर्णाटका बैंक, यूनाइटेड बैंक ऑफ इंडिया, इंडियन ओवरसीज़ बैंक और करूर वैश्य बैंक पर कुल 11 करोड़ रुपये जुर्माना लगाया है. स्विफ्ट प्रणाली से जुड़े सॉफ्टवेयर को लेकर दिशानिर्देशों का पालन नहीं करने पर यह जुर्माना लगाया गया है. स्विफ्ट वित्तीय संस्थानों द्वारा कोड प्रणाली का इस्तेमाल करके जानकारी-निर्देशों को सुरक्षित रूप से भेजने वाला मेसेजिंग नेटवर्क है।

Description: According to the study of the US-based International Food Policy Research Institute, India gets financial loss of Rs 2 lakh crore annually due to pollution caused by pollution. At the same time, there is a loss of about 50,000 crore / year from pollution caused by firecrackers.

विवरण: अमेरिका स्थित इंटरनैशनल फूड पॉलिसी रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट की स्टडी के मुताबिक, पराली जलाने के कारण होने वाले वायु प्रदूषण से भारत को सालाना 2 लाख करोड़ रुपये का आर्थिक नुकसान होता है. वहीं, पटाखों से होने वाले प्रदूषण से करीब 50,000 करोड़/वर्ष का नुकसान होता है.

Description: According to the reports, the government has approved the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) project of Adani Power of Rs 14,000 crore in Jharkhand. Adani Power of industrialist Gautam Adani had sought approval from the government for setting up this project spread over 425 hectares. Significantly, all the power of this project will be exported to Bangladesh.

विवरण: रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, सरकार ने झारखंड में अडानी पावर की 14,000 करोड़ रुपये की विशेष आर्थिक क्षेत्र (सेज़) परियोजना को मंज़ूरी दे दी है. उद्योगपति गौतम अडानी की अदाणी पावर ने 425 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में फैली इस परियोजना को लगाने के लिए सरकार से मंज़ूरी मांगी थी. गौरतलब है कि इस परियोजना की सारी बिजली बांग्लादेश को निर्यात की जाएगी।
