(1).Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) Chairman Sushil Chandra has been appointed as an Election Commissioner.

केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड (सीबीडीटी) के अध्यक्ष सुशील चंद्रा को चुनाव आयुक्त के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है।

(2).Senior bureaucrat Pramod Chandra Mody has been appointed as the chairman of Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).

वरिष्ठ नौकरशाह प्रमोद चन्द्र मोदी को केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड (सीबीडीटी) का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया।

(3).Netherlands’ Eva de Goede and Arthur Van Doren of Belgium have been named as the International Hockey Federation’s (FIH) Players of the Year for 2018.

नीदरलैंड की इवा डि गोएडे और बेल्जियम के आर्थर वेन डोरेन को 2018 का अंतरराष्टूीय हाकी महासंघ (एफआईएच) का सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी चुना गया।

(4).The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a penalty of Rs 1.5 crore on Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) and Rs 1 crore each on Punjab National Bank (PNB) and Bank of India for violation of various banking norms.

(5).Bihar government has announced a universal old age pension scheme – Mukhyamantri Vridhajan Pension Yojana (MVPY) for all people above 60 years of age.

बिहार सरकार ने 60 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के सभी लोगों के लिए एक सार्वभौमिक वृद्धावस्था पेंशन योजना – मुख्यमंत्री वृद्धजन पेंशन योजना (एमवीपीवाई) की घोषणा की है।

(6).Edelweiss Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bank of Singapore to form a strategic partnership to provide clients of both entities the opportunity to access their respective product platforms.
